You can register with private temping and recruitment agencies. In Norwegian language its called “vikarbyrå”. We will help you to locate these as it might be a problem from abroad and not speaking Norwegian.

Before starting your new job you will require a residence permit. For information about the applicable regulations, contact the nearest Norwegian consulate in your home country. You can also contact the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration’s applicants’ information service on tel.: (+47) 23 35 16 03.

Once you have got a job in Norway you will need a “skattekort” (tax certificate). Contact the nearest tax office to your Norwegian place of residence.

If you work for a Norwegian employer in Norway you are entitled to the same pay and the same terms of employment as Norwegians.
